Week 3 and 4

Marcus seems to be doing really well.  He is still dizzy which is one of the side effects of bells palsy. 

He wrote us a letter and told us this funny story:

"So here is my funny story for the week and i hope you guys get a kick out of it.. So we were all in class and we have these things called tasks and you have to complete the task by the end of the week and our task this week was to follow up on investigators that we commited to read the book of mormon.. So during class our spanish teacher calls on me and my companion to stand up and says he is going to be the proggresing investigator and we are going to follow up and ask him if he read the BOM all in spanish, which is quite hard.  So we stand up and were in front of the whole class and we start speaking in spanish to our teacher and then in spanish we ask him if he kept his commitment and read the BoM and of course our teacher replys back no, so like elder Jeffrey R. Holland teaches, he tells us as missionaries to act devistated if our investigators dont keep there commitments, so when our teacher says that he didn't read the BoM i look at him and go "oh somos devistedos" which means we are devestated in english and all the sudden our teacher just starts breaking out laughing and tears are coming from his eyes he is laughing so hard and so it turned out that "somos devistedos" doesn't translate we are devistated in english it translates we are naked... ha ha ha ha so when he told us he didn't read the book of mormon i told him that we are naked!! it was way funny our district and teacher were laughing for probably 2 hours. it was sooooo funny!!  i hope you understood that and i hope you got a laugh out of it ha ha.. "

Also in the letter he said:

"yeah the food is disgusting but i have put on 5 lbs.. the doctor said everything is fine with me so don't worry.. but he did tell me that he had a kid get bells palsy while in the mtc and he got sent home immediatley. Sso i guess my bells palsy came at the right time..i love you fam!! i ll be writing you all handwritten letters today individually!! and p.s. if you want to say "we are devestated" say "somos devestados ha ha don't say somos devistedos ha ha love you guys miss ya tons.
